Pangulong Marcos: Impeachment trial puwedeng tumawid sa 20th Congress

MANILA, Philippines — Naniniwala si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na makakatawid sa 20th Congress ang impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

Sinabi ng Pangulo na hindi maiiwasan na saluhin ng mga senador sa 20th Congress ang impeachment ­proceedings ng Bise Presidente.

Dagdag pa ni Marcos, wala siyang nakikitang kontrobersiya sa pag-usad ng impeachment proceedings mula sa 19th Congress patungo sa 20th Congress dahil hindi kayang matapos ito bago pumasok ang mga bagong Senador.

Ipinapaubaya naman ng Presidente sa mga Senador ang pagpapasya sa isyu ng impeachment ni VP Sara dahil ito aniya ang kanilang trabaho.

Manonood lang din aniya ang Malakanyang kung paano ang gagawin ni Senate President Chiz Escudero para sa mapayapang transition sa susunod na kongreso.

“We are watching of course, what the Senate President, Chiz Escudero is doing to try to make it as a peaceful transition  as possible  from this Congress to the next,” ayon pa kay Marcos na nagsilbi ring Senator-Judge sa impeachment trial ni ­dating Supreme Court chief justice Renato ­Corona.
