VP Sara ‘di dadalo sa SONA ni Pangulong Marcos Jr.
MANILA, Philippines — Inihayag kahapon ni House Secretary General Reginald Velasco na nakatanggap ito ng liham mula sa tanggapan ni Vice President Sara Duterte na nagsasabing hindi ito dadalo sa State of the Nation Address (SONA) sa Hulyo 28.
“We received it after we sent the formal invitation… We received this note that she won’t be attending this coming SONA,” ayon kay Velasco.
Ayon kay Velasco sa kabuuang mahigit 200 imbitasyon na ipinadala ng Kamara sa mga VIP at iba pang mga bisita sa SONA ay tanging si VP Duterte pa lamang ang nagpaabot na hindi makakadalo.
Gayunpaman, handa pa rin aniya sila kung sakaling dumalo si Duterte, tulad ng paglalaan ng upuan para sa kaniya.
“So there will be a seat for her, reserved at the center of the gallery, the VIP of the gallery. If she decides to come, there will be a seat for her and her immediate staff. In fact, we will designate a holding room for the Vice President and her staff, as we have done in the past,” dagdag pa niya.
