‘Magka-birthday, parehong iyakin’: What keeps Dominic Roque, Sue Ramirez together
MANILA, Philippines — When news came out that Dominic Roque and Sue Ramirez are dating, they just came out from controversial breakups – Dominic with actress Bea Alonzo; and Sue with politician Javi Benitez.
But despite the backlash Dominic and Sue got from the issues they figured in, Dominic said he and the actress are “happy together” and are even becoming stronger — thanks to their common birthday and interests.
Sue is older than Dominic by six years, but they both celebrate their birthday on July 20.
“We’re greeting each other ‘pag birthday kasi we have the same birthday,” Dominic shared at the recent launch of PLDT and Netflix’s new partnership on how his friendship with Sue started.
From social media “kamustahan,” their romance blossomed, the content creator recalled, because of their common interests like travel, extreme sports and watching dramas like Netflix’s “When Life Gives You Tangerines.” And they do not just watch it together — they even cry over it together.
