LRT, MRT offer free rides for Independence Day

MANILA, Philippines — The metro’s major railway transits are offering free train rides for passengers in celebration of Independence Day on Thursday, June 12.

Train rides will be free during rush hours at the start and end of the workday. Below is the schedule for the free rides:

LRT-1
- Morning: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
- Afternoon: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
LRT-2
- Morning: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
- Afternoon: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
MRT-3
- Morning: 7:00 AM - 9:00 AM
- Afternoon: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
