CAAP holds exams for aviation professionals

MANILA, Philippines — The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) administered the qualifying exams yesterday for 300 examinees who want to become aviation professionals.
Bea Bernardo, CAAP information officer, said the comprehensive air traffic service qualifying examinations were given at various testing centers across the country.
Bernardo said there is no quota for those who want to enter the fields of air traffic control and aviation communication systems, adding that those who meet the required standards will proceed to the next stage of the course.
CAAP director general Raul del Rosario described the qualifying examinations as investments in a new generation of aviation professionals who will safeguard the future of Philippine aviation.
The program supports the directive of President Marcos and Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon to prioritize people-centric development.
Bernardo said CAAP, by rigorously screening candidates, ensures that only the most capable and committed individuals are selected to uphold the safety and efficiency of the country’s airspace.
