Ka-loveteam ni Ate Guy na si Cocoy Laurel, namatay na rin

Pumanaw na si Victor D. Laurel, na mas kilala sa entertainment industry bilang Cocoy Laurel.

Namatay siya sa edad na 72.

Dumalaw pa si Cocoy sa burol noong nakaraang April ni superstar and National Artist Nora Aunor. Maraming nagulat dahil medyo kuba na siya noon.

Naging magka-loveteam sila ni Ate Guy noong kainitan ng career ng una at nakagawa sila ng ilang pelikula at TV projects hanggang sumikat siya sa Repertory Philippines.

Nauna nang sinabi ni Mrs. Laurel na naimbitahan si Cocoy sa Posthumous Conferment of the Presidential Medal of Merit kay Ate Guy last May. “Though not part of Nora’s immediate family and no longer active in showbiz for quite a long time, Cocoy Laurel was graciously invited to witness this momentous occasion—for which he feels both deeply privileged and honored,” bahagi pa ng post ni Mrs. Laurel that time.
