DOH: Free mental health aid in Metro Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Free medications for mental health conditions are available at various hospitals and health facilities in Metro Manila, the Department of Health (DOH) said yesterday.

Patients with updated prescriptions can freely avail themselves of Paliperidone palmitate, 150mg pre-filled syringe; Escitalopram, 10mg; Lithium carbonate, 450mg; Quetiapine, 200mg; Risperidone, 2mg and Clozapine, 100mg at the Metro Manila Center for Health Development (MMCHD).

“You can email a copy of the updated prescription at [email protected] and wait for confirmation before claiming your medications,” the DOH-MMCHD posted on social media.

All health centers in Manila serve as access sites together with the Philippine General Hospital and Jose R. Reyes Memorial Hospital.
